FRIDAY SKILL BUILDER

  • 5:00 PM- 6:00 PM

  • 5 Training Sessions

  • Fall Dates: 9/8, 9/15, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20

  • Sessions on Indoor Turf Field - NO RAINOUTS

  • Open to Boys and Girls

  • $135/season

  • Sessions led by the Staff of Sporting Delaware - Sporting Delaware Professional Staff Coach Directory

 

Session Structure:

  • 5:00 - 5:15 - Small Sided Games - to encourage creativity, individuality, and love of the game

  • 5:15 - 5:45 - Soccer training - Focus will consist of individual ball skills introducing dribbling, passing, and shooting technique through an array of fun introductory games

  • 5:45 - 6:00 - Games - Players will be broken down based on age and ability. The staff will provide the appropriate opportunity for each group of players to maximize touches and fun. Games will be 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, 7v7 accordingly.

Players must supply their own shin guards. Soccer balls will be provided on training days at The Chase Fieldhouse.

GOALKEEPER UNION CLINIC

Clinic Details:

  • Birth Years: 2016 - 2008

  • 5-6pm, 6-7pm

  • 4 Trainings per Session

  • Friday Nights:

  • Session 1: Indoor Turf: 9/8, 9/15, 9/29, 10/6

  • Sessions on Indoor Turf Field - NO RAINOUTS

  • Open to Boys and Girls

  • $200/Session

  • Sessions led by the Elite Goalkeeping Staff of Sporting AC

Mission Statement: The Sporting Athletic Club Goalkeeper Union is an elite level training program designed to educate and encourage soccer goalkeepers to reach their full potential. The program's goal is to offer high-level goalkeeper training in a positive and encouraging environment.

Objective: To teach all aspects of the soccer goalkeeping trade. We will focus on footwork, handling, diving, dealing with crosses, angle play, communicating, shot-stopping, and much more.

GOLF OUTING

Funds raised from this event will go toward supporting the Sporting Athletic Club Scholarship Fund to ensure that cost does not prevent a child from having the opportunity to participate in the beautiful game.

Event Format: Scramble

Course: DuPont Country Club Nemours Course

Entry Fee: $150/golfer or $600/foursome

 

Schedule:

11:00am - Registration & practice

12:15pm - Call to carts & announcements

12:30pm - Shotgun Start

Reception with cash bar immediately following play.
