PHILLY ON THE PITCH

Sporting PA is excited to invite young athletes to our free soccer clinic, Philly on the Pitch, where players can enjoy an energetic and fun-filled training session led by our staff at Drexel University - Vidas Soccer Complex (Maguire Field). This special event is open to all players, offering a great chance to sharpen skills, meet new friends, and experience the game in a professional setting.

Registration is free! Players must register to attend.

Summer Recreational

Registration is open to all players — both current Sporting Athletic Club members and non-club players

 

Program Details:

  • Day: Fridays

  • Time: 6:00–7:00 PM or 7:00-8:00 PM

  • Dates: June 19, 26, July 10, 17, 24, 31, August 7, 14, 21, 28

  • Location: Chase Fields – 780 A Street, Wilmington, DE

  • Cost: $105 per player (includes two uniform tops)

  • ​

Players will participate in eight game nights and two training sessions (July 24 & August 28). Training sessions will be led by Sporting Athletic Club professional coaches, focusing on skill-building and teamwork. All games will be two 25-minute halves, giving players plenty of time to play and enjoy the game.

We ask for parent volunteers to help lead the games on non-training nights.  

Teams will be broken down evenly based on birth years.

 

Uniform Note:
Players will receive Black and White uniform top.  You must provide your own Black shorts and Black socks to complete the uniform.

SPORTING NETWORK SUMMER PROGRAM


Training will consist of two sessions per week for four weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sessions will be one hour and 15 minutes long between 5:30-8:30PM. There will be three separate training locations:

  • Delaware: Kirkwood Sports Complex (1220 River Road, New Castle, DE)

  • New Jersey: Moorestown High School (350 Bridgeboro Road, Moorestown, NJ)

  • Pennsylvania: AIM Academy (1200 River Road, Conshohocken, PA)

  • Tuesday, June 30th

  • Thursday, July 2nd

  • Tuesday, July 7th

  • Thursday, July 9th

  • Tuesday, July 14th

  • Thursday, July 16th

  • Tuesday, July 21st

  • Thursday, July 23rd


Tournament:
All players can register to join a two-day tournament on Saturday, July 25th - Sunday, July 26th.

Players will be grouped across all three locations (Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania) to create tournament teams. 


Who Can Join:
This program is open to ALL travel team players born between 2019 and 2010. Players from outside Sporting AC, Sporting NJ, and Sporting PA are welcome!

SPORTING AC PRE TRAVEL DEVELOPMENT

The Sporting PA Winter Pre-Travel Program is the perfect introduction to competitive soccer for boys and girls born in 2019–2020. Led by our licensed coaches and a research-backed teaching approach, this winter-only, high-energy indoor program blends fun and development to build confident, creative players. Through game-based sessions, skill circuits, and small-sided match festivals, players grow their first touch, decision-making, and love for the game in an age-appropriate environment that supports both personal and athletic development. Whether your child is just discovering soccer or already showing promise, this is where passion meets potential—and the pathway into Sporting PA’s competitive travel teams begins.

Winter Goalscorers Clinic

Sharpen your finishing, perfect your first touch, and learn how to find the back of the net with confidence. This winter, join us for the Sporting AC Goalscorers Clinic, led by Matt Paranczak, whose expertise and energy will take your attacking game to the next level.

Open to aspiring strikers and goal-getters ready to level up. This clinic is for all ages and stages - from top level to grassroots

SET GK CAMP

Step up your game and sharpen your skills with our specialized Goalkeeper Camp, designed for players of all levels. Led by experienced coaches, this session focuses on essential techniques, decision-making, and mastering the art of goalkeeping.

 

What’s Included:

🧤 A Free Pair of Goalkeeper Gloves: Every participant will receive a complimentary pair of SET GK gloves to enhance their performance on and off the pitch. ($100+ retail price)

This special event is open to all players, offering a great chance to sharpen skills, meet new friends, and experience the game in a professional setting.

  • Time: 11:00AM–12:00 PM

  • Location: The Chase Fieldhouse (indoor turf)

  • Maximum: 50 Players 6-9 and 50 Players 10-12
